Joey P's Week 11 NFL Picks: Close Games, Upset Stomachs

It's not the most appetizing idea for a Thanksgiving meal, but last week, I had no choice.

Thanks to the number of close games and crazy occurrences around the league, I had to dine on my own fingernails during more than a few occasions, as the oblong-shaped ball, and those who give life and limb to possess it, took even more funny bounces than usual.

For the first time in league history, two games during the same weekend featured seven lead changes (Dallas-Pittsburgh, Seattle-New England), but that's not all.

A blocked extra point led to a two-point runback that spelled doom for me, as the Saints lost a great opportunity to upset the Broncos. On the other hand, an alert Kansas City takeaway led to a game-winning field goal, in a game the Chiefs had no business winning at Carolina.
