Because football coaches and players are creatures of habit, they are usually not in favor of playing Thursday night games.
But because most fans simply can't get enough football and love seeing their town and team spotlighted on national television, they love the idea.
It's a fine line to walk between what the fans want for their team and what they want for themselves. But there's no escaping the fact that, for the 10th time in Ravens history, the team will play a Thursday night game when the winless Cleveland Browns come to town Nov. 10.
Contrary to what most might think, playing two games in five days hasn't been tough on the Ravens at all.
