Navy will enjoy a homecoming of sorts when it heads to Jacksonville, Fla., Nov. 5 for its annual, highly anticipated matchup against Notre Dame.
The Midshipmen are expected to attract thousands of fans to EverBank Field, which is home to the Jacksonville Jaguars and close to several military facilities, including Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. Navy could use the support coming off a 52-45 loss at South Florida Oct. 29 that knocked the Mids out of the top 25.
A win against the Irish would make Navy (5-2) bowl-eligible for the 13th time in the past 14 seasons.
