Here are my power rankings for Week Eight of the NFL season.
1. New England Patriots (6-1 overall record, No. 2 ranking last week)
Tight end Rob Gronkowski is really excited about his next touchdown. Not necessarily because it will break the record for the most in Patriots history -- but more because it will be his 69th, "if you know what [he] mean[s]." I think we all do, Gronk. As, in 1869, postage stamps showing scenes were issued for the first time. It's important we continue to recognize a historically significant moment.
2. Minnesota Vikings (5-1, No. 1)
Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford was sacked six times during the loss versus the Eagles. The last time anyone was beaten this badly in Philadelphia, Apollo Creed couldn't make the 10 count.
