The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center on the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center campus is honoring its commitment to patient care and education with an annual event focused on lung cancer treatment and research. Members of the Johns Hopkins Lung Cancer Program will be available to provide resources and answer questions. This event is free to people living with lung cancer, their family members and people who are at-risk for lung cancer.
The event, “Thriving and Surviving Lung Cancer,” will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016. This evening will include discussions and updates on what’s new in the research and treatment of lung cancer, and the hope it brings to better patient outcomes. It will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner followed by the program starting at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Asthma & Allergy Center Auditorium, listed at the address below. Registration is required.
