Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famer Rick Dempsey to join Sept. 26 opening celebration
Klein Enterprises announced today that Ruth’s Chris Steak House is set to open this Monday, September 26, 2016 at The Village at Odenton Station, located in West Anne Arundel County opposite the Odenton MARC Rail Station and near Ft. Meade, the National Security Agency and National Business Park. Baltimore Orioles Hall of Famer Rick Dempsey will be on-site to greet customers and to sign autographs from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in honor of the opening. Klein Enterprises manages the retail leasing for The Village at Odenton Station, which is owned by The Dolben Company.
“With Odenton’s fast-growing, professional population and the strong growth at Ft. Meade, NSA and the National Business Park, we are confident that Ruth’s Chris Steak House will be the perfect complement to this flourishing market,” said Steve de Castro, owner of the Odenton location. “We are delighted to open our fifth Maryland location in Odenton, a thriving destination for many of our valued customers, and we look forward to welcoming local residents, business travelers and military personnel to our restaurant.”
Construction began in April on the 8,600-sq.-ft. restaurant, which features a bar, open dining room, banquet rooms and an outdoor patio. The restaurant’s curbside service offering will be especially useful to MARC commuters, who can text orders from their trains, pick them up and head home without having to leave their parking spaces.
The artwork displayed throughout the restaurant was photographed by Maryland-based photographers Matt Donnelly and Randy Santos, and depicts the story of Maryland – its mountains, beaches, oceans, small towns, and the big city.
“Steve has done an amazing job making this restaurant a warm, inviting place, offering an elegant dining experience for his customers,” said Trish Palumbo, director of leasing for Klein Enterprises. “Not only will the food satisfy guests’ sense of taste, but the surroundings will please their sense of sight as well. There is something for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.”
Ruth’s Chris has been ranked first among other nationally known fine dining restaurants for three consecutive years by Nation’s Restaurant News magazine. At The Village at Odenton Station, the restaurant anchors 57,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, which includes Kiddie Academy, Baltimore Coffee & Tea, Physiotherapy Associates, and other retail/service tenants, all beneath 235 residential apartments. There are also over 7,000 hotel rooms within a 15-minute drive, over 2,600 daily MARC commuters and a fast-growing, professional population with household income levels in excess of the state average.
