Alice attended the University of Maryland, earning a degree in business and logistics.

She is involved with the National Federation of the Blind. Alice served as a founding board member, chair and co-chair of fundraising for Patterson Park Public Charter School. She was PTO president of Hampstead Hill School and is involved in raising funds for Friends of Patterson Park, Roland Park school district, and Roland Park Country School.
