When a team adds new players, it is supposed to provide a jolt.
The Ravens did just that during the offseason, signing free-agent receiver Mike Wallace to aid the downfield passing game and, for all intents and purposes, getting wideout Steve Smith, Sr. and tight end Dennis Pitta back from debilitating injuries.
But while the Ravens did manage to walk out of Cleveland's FirstEnergy Stadium with a 25-20 win in front of 67,431 disappointed fans, it took overwhelming emotion and near-crushing adversity to give the team the energy it needed.
It also took the greatest road comeback in team history, and the second-greatest rally overall. Baltimore rose to 2-0 for the fifth time in team history -- the first time since 2009 -- by scoring 25 unanswered points to erase a 20-0 deficit.
