We have reached our final waiver-wire edition of the 2016 fantasy baseball season. There's two weeks remaining, so congratulations on making it this far and being at the top, or within striking distance, of first place in your league. I hope throughout the course of the season there were a few players who helped your team when someone was struggling or injured.
Waiver-Wire Targets:
Seattle Mariners Starting Pitcher Taijuan Walker -- Walker has made some mechanical adjustments, and it finally paid off in his last start when he struck out 11 during a complete-game shutout against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The right-hander has all the talent but has struggled for most of the season. I'm not sure if Walker has officially turned the corner, but he's worth picking up. The 24-year-old has to face the Toronto Blue Jays in his next start, so it may be a good idea to sit him out against that offense and see how he does. However, in his final two starts, he'll face the weak-hitting Minnesota Twins and Oakland A's. These matchups are perfect for fantasy owners to exploit and get a boost in categories they need down the stretch.
