The city of New Orleans has not been kind to Navy.
Head coach Ken Niumatalolo is hoping to change those fortunes during the Midshipmen's American Athletic Conference matchup against Tulane Sept. 17.
Navy has lost four consecutive games on the road to the Green Wave, and the Midshipmen have not won a matchup in the Big Easy in 22 years, when it beat Tulane, 17-15, at the Superdome.
However, Niumatalolo is confident his team can stand up to any adversity.
