Within the first minute of CM Punk's long-awaited UFC debut Sept. 10, commentator Joe Rogan used words such as "mauled" and "horrific" to describe the brutal beat-down Mickey Gall was dishing out to the former WWE Champion.
Punk was taken down immediately and nailed in the face and head with a number of hard shots before he tapped out to a rear naked choke, bringing a merciful end to the fight.
It took Punk nearly two years to enter the Octagon after signing with UFC, and it was all finished in 2 minutes, 14 seconds.
