Watching third baseman Manny Machado's assault on the Orioles' record book really doesn't' tell us much about him we didn't already know -- he's a potential legend in the making.
Neither did it tell us much about some of those he's chasing, and passing -- Hall of Famers Eddie Murray and Cal Ripken Jr. But there's another name on those "fastest to" lists that might come as a surprise to the younger Orioles fans and serves as a reminder to the young old-timers set.
