It's only the second week of the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletics Association football regular season, and Harford Tech already won a trophy.
The Cobras played York County Technical High School from Pennsylvania Sept. 2 in the inaugural "The Battle for the Mason Dixon Line." Harford Tech came out on top, 36-14, and as a result, gets to keep the trophy until the two teams play next year.
"It was a good first test because of the unknown factor of it," head coach Dave Deutsch said. " Our guys didn't know much about the opponent besides what we have on scout film. The players were really focused on the trophy staying here and not going back on the bus to Pennsylvania."
