It seemed rather strange to see a surplus of bodies on the Ravens' practice field on the final cutdown day.
But the day got even more strange as it progressed.
The team apparently still had some issues to work out before trimming 22 players from the roster, in some form or fashion, before the 4 p.m. deadline. One of those could be mere separation anxiety for head coach John Harbaugh, who has given himself what he feels are a lot of viable options that make such decisions very tough.
"The guys out here today that won't be here later are guys that have become part of us, become part of our team, part of our family," Harbaugh said. "Whatever we accomplish this year, they'll have a stake in it."
