The Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame, an organization that has been around since 1956, held a news conference Aug. 30 to announce its latest cast of seven inductees.
The list covers a wide spectrum of sports personalities, headed by Orioles Hall of Famer and current vice president of baseball operations Brady Anderson.
The inductees will be honored during a ceremony Nov. 3. Here's a look at the other soon-to-be Hall of Fame members:
Wheeler Baker, a power boat champion and 10-time winner of the American Power Boat Association national championship.
