The problem with preseason football is that there are so many things that can go wrong, it's hard to enjoy those that go right.
The Ravens notched the 50th preseason win in team history, a 30-9 win over the visiting Detroit Lions Aug. 27, in part by getting a boost from returning veterans Joe Flacco and Terrell Suggs, who looked like they were back to their old selves.
"It was great to see them both out there," head coach John Harbaugh said. "It was important to get them back in a real game and reacquainted with what that feels like.
"They are good players. They make plays, and they lift everyone else up."
