Just when the Ravens get some good news regarding injured players, some not-so-good news always seems to follow.
The good news was wide receiver and 2015 first-round pick Breshad Perriman suited up for the Aug. 23 full-pads session, marking the first complete non-optional, fully dressed practice session of his career.
Perriman's morning consisted mainly of running routes off to the side and catching uncontested throws from quarterbacks Joe Flacco, Ryan Mallett and Josh Johnson, simply to work on timing and hand position.
The 26th overall pick expressed supreme confidence he would be ready for the Sept. 11 regular-season opener against the Buffalo Bills, but he said he would leave it up to the coaching staff as far as the preseason is concerned.
