It was a quiet weekend in Major League Baseball, which is always a great thing for fantasy baseball, as it means there were no major injuries. Late-season injuries are always crippling, as it usually means a player will have a hard time returning before the year is finished, and it's difficult to replace the production.

The stretch run is officially here, and every decision is crucial throughout the next several weeks. In most leagues, the trade deadline has passed, as well, so the only way to give your team a boost is by finding a player off the waiver wire. That is why we are here and will continue to help through the rest of the season. In recent years, I have learned any player who could help, even for a week, is huge in terms of where fantasy owners could end up finishing in the standings.
