Alex Rodriguez played the final game of his Yankees career -- and possibly his major league career -- Aug. 13 in New York, closing the book on one of the most spectacular (and controversial) players in baseball history.
During Rodriguez's 22-year career, the Orioles were a frequent victim of his excellence. He played 255 regular-season games versus the Birds, his second most against any opponent, and mashed 69 homers against them, also his second most. He had more RBIs against the Orioles (211) than any other team.
Rodriguez also faced off against the Orioles twice in the postseason, 15 years apart. He was 5-for-16 with a homer during the 1997 American League Division Series with the Mariners, then 2-for-16 as a Yankee in the 2012 ALDS.
