Another week and another round of closers losing their jobs. This has been an unusual year for closers. During the beginning of the season, there weren't many changes other than an occasional injury, but throughout the last three weeks the ninth inning has been a constant rollercoaster, as closers have been shuffled due to trades, injuries and plain ineffectiveness. If fantasy owners are still struggling in the save category, than they just haven't been paying attention.
Fernando Rodney has taken over the Marlins' closer role, replacing the injured A.J. Ramos, but he is already highly owned. Another pitcher who could take over in the ninth inning is Cincinnati Reds reliever Raisel Iglesias. However, due to many people thinking he could have a breakout season as a starter, he is also highly owned. I mention those guys because there could be leagues where they are available. If not, here are some other targets.
