With a 39-17 mark at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, it's no secret the O's have been dominant at home this season. And while the Birds haven't been terrible on the road (24-32), the hope coming out of the All-Star break was that they'd continue to play very well at home and improve a bit on the road.
That sure seems like a formula the O's need to adhere to in order to win the American League East or survive what looks to be a drag-out fight for the two AL Wild Card spots.
With that in mind, a 2-3 start to the Orioles' 10-game road trip Aug. 5-14 isn't exactly what fans had in mind. And that's despite another strong outing from right-hander Dylan Bundy during a 10-2 victory against the Chicago White Sox Aug. 7.
