As practice begins, Ravens running back Terrance West will usually head to an end zone, place his hands against the goalpost support and stretch his legs.
He will then trot off to ostensibly join his teammates, but, helmet in hand, he takes part in some pre-practice running in the same fashion in which he stretched moments earlier.
Alone.
The 25-year-old West, a product of Northwestern High and Towson University, is back in his hometown, living his pro football dream in front of family and friends, not to mention his three children, a brood that includes a pair of newborn twin daughters.
