Transwestern Brokers Transaction on Behalf of Debra J. Furlong

Transwestern announces it brokered the disposition of 2.76 acres at 9201 Guilford Road in Columbia, Maryland. Poverni Sheikh Group LLC purchased the property for $1,212,500. Transwestern Vice President Leo McDermott represented the seller, Debra J. Furlong, in the transaction.

“This property offered a rare opportunity to acquire a developable site in Howard County in close proximity to transit, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Fort Meade,” said McDermott. “Poverni Sheikh is currently exploring a number of uses for the site.”

The property is in the Kings Contrivance subdivision of Columbia with easy access to a variety of retail, entertainment and casual dining options such as The Mall in Columbia, Merriweather Post Pavilion and Historic Savage Mill.
