For the first time in team history, the Ravens have held two training camp practices at their game-day home field.
In replacing the annual Naval Academy practice with another one downtown, it seemed to be a move aimed at the convenience of most fans who wouldn't have to drive as far. It also provided those who can't afford pre- or regular-season tickets a chance to see the team in its natural environs.
The team has also held a few practices at Stevenson University, site of their former training facility, but that doesn't seat nearly as many people, and it often led to crowded traffic conditions on Owings Mills Boulevard.
