At the outset of his 10th season at the helm of the Fallston girls' soccer team, Mark Hannahs is in a familiar place.
In 2015, the Cougars captured the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletics Association Class 2A state title, beating Wilde Lake, 1-0, in the championship. It was Fallston's second state title under Hannahs, with the first coming in 2009. It was also the program's fifth state finals appearance with Hannahs as head coach and second in a row.
Now, with the 2016 season around the corner, Hannahs must do what he's consistently done throughout his tenure at Fallston -- not allow the previous year's success to bring overconfidence to a new campaign.
