Here are the Day 8 practice highlights, with training camp having officially reached the halfway point:

- Despite rookie defensive end Bronson Kaufusi's season-ending ankle injury, the Ravens have, so far, largely avoided the huge pile-up of injures that can sometimes occur during camp. Besides Kaufusi, active-roster absences Aug. 6 included only five other players, none of which returned: fourth-round rookie wideout Chris Moore (unknown), sixth-round cornerback Maurice Canady (unknown), tight ends Crockett Gillmore (hamstring) and Dennis Pitta (finger), and defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan (ribs).

- Returning to practice after scheduled off-days were safety Lardarius Webb and wideout Michael Campanaro. With the first preseason game approaching Aug. 11, it's worth noting various injuries have kept Webb out of nine straight preseason games and 12 of the last 13. His last August action was, coincidentally, against the Ravens' next opponent, the Carolina Panthers, Aug. 22, 2013.
