MMA Capital Management, LLC (NASDAQ: MMAC) today announced that the Board of Directors has approved the addition of Lisa Roberts, former Chief Financial Officer of the Company, to the Board of Directors effective August 3, 2016.
Michael Falcone, MMA Capital's Chief Executive Officer stated, "I am pleased to announce that Lisa Roberts has joined the Board effective immediately. Lisa's knowledge of our business and her finance background make her an excellent fit to assist us in shaping our future strategic efforts as we continue to evolve and grow as a Company."
Pursuant to NASDAQ guidelines, due to her prior employment and consulting relationship with the Company, Ms. Roberts will not be considered an independent director at this time and therefore will not serve as a member of any committees of the Board until such time as she is determined to be an independent director.
