The Y in Central Maryland is pleased to announce the hiring of Dana Angelini as director of talent acquisition. In this role, Angelini will be responsible for all recruiting activities and initiatives for the Y in Central Maryland.

Angelini comes to the Y from Mercy Medical Systems, where she spent the past six years as their director of employment and employee relations. Over the course of her 18-year human resources (HR) career in both for-profit and non-profit environments, she has also held key HR generalist roles with Science Applications International Corporation, Terumo Medical Corporation and the Martin Pollak Project.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in social work from McDaniel College and a Master’s of Science in human resources development from Towson University. Angelini has also earned her Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management. She lives in Harford County with her husband and their children.
