Stephanie Ryan
Maryland Public Television (MPT) announced the addition of Stephanie Ryan to its Special Events & Community Engagement Department as coordinator of special events. She is a resident of Silver Spring.
In this role, Ryan manages the station’s online auctions, the MPT raffle, and provides support for the station’s special events and fundraising initiatives. Prior to coming to MPT, she spent six years with the City of Rockville, first as a member of its special events team and later as camp and teen program staffer.
Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree from Shepherd University. During her undergraduate studies, Ryan worked as chair and treasurer of the leadership team for the university’s Program Board, an events-oriented position.
