While Orioles fans are not exactly ecstatic over executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette's haul at the MLB trade deadline, there is still some good news to share. None of the three teams locked in a death match for an American League East crown, and even other possible Wild Card candidates, did anything to blow the doors off the other teams.
Entering play Aug. 2, one-game stands between the first-place Orioles and now-third-place Toronto Blue Jays -- with the Red Sox sandwiched in the middle.
