Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake Names Gail Clough as Director of Development

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake (BBBSGC), Maryland’s largest donor-and volunteer-supported youth mentoring network, has announced the selection of Gail Clough as Director of Development. Ms. Clough will lead fundraising development and partnerships for the nonprofit agency, and brings with her a twenty-year track record of business development leadership across the for- and non-profit sectors.

“With her extensive professional experience and networking knowledge, we are fortunate to have Gail join the BBBSGC team and lend her talents for our mission of helping Littles reach their fullest potential,” said President and CEO Kera Ritter. “Gail’s expertise in expanding donor and corporate partnerships will strengthen our ability to continue and grow our program service, which currently includes serving over 1,000 Maryland youth each year.”

“Mentoring is a cause that has always been close to my heart,” shared Ms. Clough. “I am honored by the opportunity to support the great history of Big Brothers Big Sisters alongside the dedicated board, staff, and volunteers of the Greater Chesapeake chapter. I hope to create impact that positively shapes our community, and I look forward to building lasting relationships in this role.”

Prior to joining BBBSGC, Ms. Clough spent 13 years directing business development for The Daily Record. Most recently, she served as Director of Development for The Reginald F. Lewis African American Museum, and also as a business skills coach for “Mentoring Monday” at Baltimore Business Journal. Ms. Clough holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn State University and currently resides in Baltimore.
