Slowly but surely, the Ravens trickled into the team facility for the first day of training camp with a first-day-of-school look.
Largely devoid of smiles and clad in knapsacks, baggy shorts and baseball caps worn backward, they resembled mere high school students, unsure of what lay before them.
Even the most veteran players noted the rather clumsy nature of the moment.
"You [media] guys make it real comfortable walking in here," tight end Dennis Pitta said sarcastically.
"Awkward," guard Marshal Yanda added.
