A blistering heat wave will turn into a pressure cooker, in more ways than one, as the Ravens' training camp begins.
The team's rookies, quarterbacks and injured veterans have already reported for their exclusive sessions; everyone else will join them July 27.
With an intact coaching staff counting on good health, better depth, an infusion of youth and a big dose of pride after last year's injury-riddled season, the staff is not likely to tolerate any inconsistency or ineffectiveness in camp -- even before the preseason games begin Aug. 11.
For now, Ravens Report's two-deep depth chart is also largely unchanged, but with the entire camp laid out before the team, the 90 players on the roster are aware that even the slightest step back -- or, for that matter, forward -- can change the entire course of their futures and the team's.
