Cresa Washington DC recently represented Standard Solar Inc. in a 17,513-square-foot lease restructuring and renewal of its headquarters at 1355 Piccard Drive in Rockville, MD. Standard Solar Inc., a leading solar energy company specializing in the development and financing of commercial and utility-scale solar electric systems nationwide, will continue to occupy a portion of the third floor in the four-story, 136,000-square-foot standalone office building.

According to Mindy Saffer, a Cresa Managing Principal and LEED AP who represented Standard Solar Inc. in the transaction, Cresa negotiated favorable terms in an early restructure, resulting in overall cost reductions for the tenant.

The landlord, BREOF Piccard REO LLC, was represented by Rocky Kern from Cushman & Wakefield.
