Rachel Pelzer and Kaitlyn McCoach Join Weber Shandwick to Manage Integrated Marketing Campaigns

Rachel Pelzer and Kaitlyn McCoach

Kaitlyn McCoach and Rachel Pelzer have joined global communications and marketing firm Weber Shandwick in Baltimore. Weber Shandwick serves regional, national and international clients, including multiple Fortune 100 firms, with brand management, integrated marketing, digital, social media, PR and issues management services.

Pelzer joins Weber Shandwick as Senior Account Executive. Her experience includes execution of full-funnel marketing strategies employing brand management, lead generation, multi-channel marketing and communications, exhibit marketing, PR, social media, blog content development, SEO and sales support.  She was most recently marketing manager at McClung-Logan Equipment Company in Baltimore, where she was responsible for managing multiple company brands through all digital and print advertising channels, as well as branded materials.  While there, she worked with the Volvo CE North America marketing team. 

Prior to that, Pelzer was a strategic marketing and communications associate at DoublePositive, where she executed B2B lead generation and cross-channel marketing campaigns. Pelzer received her bachelor of science degree in Communications from Towson University, where she also minored in Business Administration.

McCoach joins the Weber Shandwick team in Baltimore as Account Executive, where she is responsible for implementing integrated marketing programs for the firm’s regional clients. Previously, she was an account executive at Renegade Communications in Hunt Valley, MD, where she worked on strategic branding campaigns for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. She provided day-to-day management of campaigns incorporating print and video production, graphic design, media relations, digital marketing, social media and mobile platforms.  Her work also included management of internal communications programs for clients. 

McCoach received her bachelor of arts degree in Communication with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Maryland, where she also received a Women’s Studies certificate. Among her activities in the community, she is a member of the Junior League of Baltimore.
