Before I get the usual raft of Orioles fans accusing me of calling the Birds' brain trust stupid, read the positive things I say about the O's in a large percentage of my posts.
But that doesn't stop me from thinking that what the Orioles might be doing is equivalent to throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
There is a notion that the Orioles' starting pitching is so suspect that if they don't fix it, and with a real fix, then hold up your hands in horror because "the season is lost."
But the Orioles' pitching situation resembles an avalanche, because while people who reside near the mountains live in fear of the big stones falling on them, it's often the smaller stone that serves as the glue to the entirety, and as they loosen up, all hell breaks loose.
