For more than a decade, Severna Park has been a dominant force on the tennis courts in Anne Arundel County.
This year was no different, as the Falcons finished 14-0, clinching their 11th straight regular-season county championship. The closest an opponent came to beating them was a 7-3 result against Marriotts Ridge April 5.
Severna Park also won its fourth straight postseason county tournament as well as the regional tournament. With the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletics Association not having a team state tournament for tennis, a regional championship is the best a team can win.
Going undefeated also meant the Falcons extended their team-match win streak to 125, a mark which dates back to 2005.
