John Dressel
North Oaks, a senior living community in Pikesville, has recently appointed John Dressel as the Food and Beverage Manager for the two on-site restaurants and health center. Dressel has over 20 years of experience in the retirement community and hospitality industries.
Prior to joining the team at North Oaks, Dressel was the Director of Dining Services at Springwell Retirement Community in Mt Washington. There, he oversaw three full service dining rooms that serviced the 136 room community. Dressel also served as the Food and Beverage Director at Embassy Suites, where he was responsible for $1 million worth of special events hosted by the hotel.

Dressel earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Johns Hopkins University, and his Culinary Degree from Baltimore International Culinary College. He earned a Masters of Special Education from the College of Notre Dame in 2002 after working as the Executive Chef at the University of Delaware.
