Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: June 20, 2016

6/21/16

By Phil Backert, PressBox

Baltimore Orioles infielder Manny Machado began serving his four-game suspension June 19 and will return June 24. Normally, I would advise to sit any player who will miss three games in a weekly league, but the Orioles have a double header June 25, so Machado will be eligible to play four games.

The infielder is too talented, and since he will be available in more games than he will miss this week, I'm going to accept the three games he will be suspended and start him in weekly leagues.

Three Up:

1. Toronto Blue Jays Michael Saunders, Josh Donaldson and Edwin Encarnacion -- It was a memorable week if you had an offensive player on the Blue Jays, as they rolled in a big way. Saunders finished with four home runs and nine RBIs; Donaldson had a .444 batting average with three home runs and nine RBIs and Encarnacion finished the week with three home runs and a .536 OBP. This offense is one of the best in baseball, and they are starting to click, which is music to the ears of fantasy players.
