I've had some good weeks in my life.
No, really. There was one week back in college when I magically remembered we had a hidden six-pack of Keystone Light in my roommate's closet so we weren't actually out of beer, and then the next day, the dining hall totally screwed up and gave me double fries at lunch. It was a good week.
That week was almost as good as the one current John Carroll basketball rising junior Immanuel Quickley experienced this month.
On June 13, Quickley received a scholarship offer from head coach Mark Turgeon and the University of Maryland. It was a significant moment for the local 16-year-old.
