Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: June 13, 2016

The Colorado Rockies placed closer Jake McGee on the disabled list June 11 due to inflammation in his knee and have named Carlos Estevez as his replacement. As we know, when a closer is available on the waiver wire, he needs to be added immediately. Estevez recorded a save in his first opportunity and now has 22 strikeouts in 20.1 innings pitched.

Fantasy owners must still be recovering from their weekend, as Estevez is only 22 percent owned in Yahoo! Sports leagues.

Three Up:

1. Baltimore Orioles First Baseman Chris Davis -- When Davis is on a hot streak, he can carry fantasy teams for weeks. We have officially entered the first hot streak of the season for Davis, as he has hit home runs in five straight games to go along with 10 RBIs and a .462 OBP. Davis now has 16 home runs and 39 RBIs on the season and is on pace to give fantasy owners the power and run production they were seeking when they drafted the slugger. His .228 batting average is too low, but hopefully this hot streak can continue and the average settles around .250.
