Susan Hasler
Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business named Susan Hasler assistant dean for business programs. She comes to the position with over 25 years of experience in the areas of student development and enrollment management.
As assistant dean, Hasler will provide operational leadership for Sellinger undergraduate and graduate programs. This will include oversight for Sellinger undergraduate and graduate policies and procedures, registration and class scheduling, administration of school-wide honors programs, providing leadership to the graduate recruitment team and collaboration with internal and external constituents in support of graduate program recruitment.
Hasler joined the Sellinger School in April 2014 as assistant director of recruitment for graduate business programs. In this capacity, she identified and implemented recruitment strategies for Sellinger’s graduate business programs and cultivated relationships with alumni, the business community and educational institutions to support graduate recruitment initiatives and opportunities. In this role she also provided guidance to students in selecting graduate programs from the Sellinger graduate portfolio.
Hasler also has experience in student development. As the dean of students at Wells College, she held responsibility for strategic planning and operation for six departments. As chief student affairs administrator, she implemented comprehensive retention programs, held responsibility for resolving student concerns, managed student discipline, developed experiential learning opportunities for students and led the response team for crisis management.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Wittenberg University and master’s degree in college student personnel from Miami University.
