Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: May 31, 2016

It was a very newsworthy Memorial Day weekend in fantasy baseball, and with many people traveling, I want to make sure everyone is caught up.

- Texas Rangers starting pitcher Yu Darvish made his season debut May 28 and struck out seven batters during five innings while allowing one run. It was Darvish's first start since Aug. 9, 2014, after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March 2015. Darvish will only get better as the Rangers become more relaxed with his pitch count.

- The Toronto Blue Jays placed shortstop Troy Tulowitzki on the disabled list May 28 after tweaking a quadriceps injury May 27. Tulowitzki was dealing with the injury for a few days, but he returned to the lineup. The shortstop has had a brutal season, with a .204 batting average and .289 OBP, so this actually makes life easier for fantasy owners, as they don't have to deal with the burden of what to do with the veteran.

- The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim activated right-handed reliever Huston Street from the disabled list May 30, and the right-hander will immediately return to be the closer. Street has been out since April 23 with an oblique strain.
