Maryland’s Average COVID-19 Positivity Rate, Daily New Cases Continue to Rise

Maryland’s average COVID-19 positive test rate is continuing to rise as state officials on Wednesday recorded another day with more than 1,000 new confirmed cases.

The state’s coronavirus caseload grew by 1,366 new cases, an increase of 0.33%.

Before Maryland confirmed 903 new cases on Tuesday, the state saw six straight days of more than 1,000 cases per day starting March 24.
