
Spring is upon us, which means activity is starting to bloom around the region. But with pandemic restrictions still in effect, we continue to experience communal gatherings from our screens.
For one sign of the return of spring, check out the Chesapeake Conservancy and Explore.org’s webcams. The area’s most-watched birds are building for spring. On Kent Island, a family of ospreys have returned to their summer home after wintering in the south, and their nest is beginning to take shape. Up on the 33rd floor of the Transamerica Tower in downtown Baltimore, peregrine falcons Barb and Boh are already watching over four eggs.
