Maryland’s COVID-19 Hospitalizations Hold Steady at 805

The number of Marylanders currently hospitalized with COVID-19 remained at 805 on Wednesday, the same amount as on Tuesday.

The metric rose above the 800-patient mark on Tuesday after the state recorded fewer than 800 current coronavirus hospitalizations per day for five straight days.

Of the state’s currently hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 579 are in acute care and 226 are in intensive care.
