One year ago today, Gov. Larry Hogan announced the first three confirmed cases of coronavirus in Maryland.
In the year since the pandemic hit Maryland, state officials have confirmed a total of 385,678 positive COVID-19 cases, including 913 cases that were newly reported Friday morning.
A total of 3,024,949 Marylanders have tested negative for the virus to date, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.
