A Canton hair salon is now allowing customers to pay for products and services by using the cryptocurrency Bitcoin.
DryLand Salon in Canton is one of a few retail businesses in Maryland that allow customers to pay using the cryptocurrency.
Kate D’Alleva, who co-owns DryLand with her sister, Lynnae, said growing interest in Bitcoin encouraged her and her sister to begin accepting it as payment.
