Maryland Reports 53 Additional Coronavirus Deaths, 1,972 New Cases

Maryland officials on Tuesday reported 53 more deaths related to coronavirus, bringing the state’s total number of confirmed COVID-19 fatalities to 6,476.

There are also 174 deaths suspected to be related to coronavirus.

At least 330,186 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 2,731,921 have tested negative as of Tuesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.
