Maryland’s COVID-19 Hospitalizations Continue to Climb to New Record of 1,957 Patients

There are currently 1,957 Marylanders hospitalized with coronavirus, the highest number of current COVID-19 hospitalizations in the state since the pandemic began.

Maryland’s hospitalizations are up from the previous high just a day before when the state had reported that 1,950 residents were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Sunday morning.

Of the Marylanders currently hospitalized with the virus, 1,510 are in acute care and 447 are in intensive care.
